Community Impact facilitates workshops that through the use use of drama, identify issues and create sustainable solutions that result in changing behaviour. The purpose of the workshops is to explore the complexities of the issues around antisocial behaviour and to provide a spectrum of support provision that tackles the causes of antisocial behaviour. We provide tailored packages to the needs of individual organisations that work towards a preventative approach which empowers communities and helps people respect the diverse views and cultures of their neighbours. The workshops help to understand the issues and working towards engaging individual organisations and their residents. They assist in formalising channels of communication that support individuals and the community and help everyone to ‘face the issues’. These sessions are an effective means of understanding how to raise awareness and communicate with the appropriate stakeholders and any action that can be taken to tackle antisocial behaviour. Whilst accreditation for positive action is attainable, this is not merely a means of accountability on the behalf of an organisation, it offers solutions to tackling antisocial behaviour and will as a result enlist the support and help of local neighbourhoods. Community Impact work with trained actors who deliver powerful messages to motivate and/or challenge audiences, helping them to develop skills and strategies for tackling key issues. We communicate with residents through an approach that they understand and trust. |
